I have personally experienced birthing in a hospital setting with and without pain management and had a planned home birth.  I have been attending births since 2005 and am currently working toward my DONA certification.  The births of all of my children and the births I have been present for have taught me that by trusting birth and your body and gathering a team of support, you can have the most spectacular birth experience which lays the groundwork necessary for parenthood and beyond.  I provide a trusting, peaceful presence at any birth planned at home or the hospital/birthing center.  I honor all decisions made and respect other support persons and medical staff as all have a place.
