A blessing way is a rite of passage for mothers who are expecting, inspired by Navajo tradition. It is performed late in pregnancy and gives the mother not only strength, but also a rich, deeply spiritual connection to the birthing process. It is a women’s-only ritual. |

A blessing way may be given in lieu of, or in addition to, a separate baby shower.
Emily will facilitate the Blessing Way for a fee of $150.
Activities will be planned via the Blessing Way Hostess and may include (but are not limited to) blessings, yoga, & meditation with the attendees, poem reading/story reading, beading, and belly painting. It is suggested to have a small intimate group of approximately 8 to 10 women (family and/or friends). |
